Starting at Temescal Gateway Park, Temescal Ridge Trail quickly winds up the canyon before leveling off at the ridge. The trail offers a steep, challenging hike that provides sweeping views of the San Gabriel Mountains, the Santa Monica Bay, and the Los Angeles basin.
