In the prophetic writings of the Book of Daniel and the Brit Chadashah (New Testament), we find significant details about the role of a rebuilt Temple in the end times. Both Daniel and Yeshua (Jesus) tell us that the Anti-Messiah will defile the Third Temple before the return of the true Messiah.
This imagery connects to the promise of a Messiah from David's line, fulfilled in Jesus Christ. It underscores the continuity of God's covenant with David and the establishment of an eternal kingdom through Christ.
Dear ones, the temple has been rebuilt, and Jesus Christ is reigning in His temple NOW! Because He has repaired that which was fallen down, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
God says through Amos that He will return and restore the fallen house (or tabernacle) of David. So that the rest of humanity can be saved (called his).
30 Μαρ 2020 · But even though God would not allow David to build the temple (see 2 Samuel 7; 1 Chronicles 22:7-8; 28:1-3), he seems to have had a significant (sometimes dominant) role in its creation, along with other men like Hiram, King of Tyre.

In the reign of King David, he decided to build God a temple – a permanent building instead of the tent (though it was a pretty nice tent – costing, in modern terms, up to $13 million USD for the materials).
