Gently open the back of the Tempus Fugit Grandfather clock with a small pair of pliers. Examine the spring of the clock to see if it is in working order. Oil the spring in the pivot sections or replace the spring with a new one if it is faulty or too old.
23 Σεπ 2023 · You will have to remove that split cuff, clean up all the solder And straighten the flaired out end part. The sides of the split part should be parallel. Then it should work as a slip clutch for the beat adjustment. When correct, this clutch should have a fair amount of resistance to being moved.
