23 Νοε 2020 · I have a 1970’s Emperor Clock Model 300 series grandfather clock (triple chime, emperor clock movement). It has recently stopped striking correctly and only strikes once per hour on the hour. The 15/30/45 work fine.

Most of these wind clockwise, although some have the left hand keyhole turn clockwise and the right hand keyhole counterclockwise. Gently try both directions. Winding will be slightly stiff, but get stiffer as you go.
