26 Νοε 2022 · How do you set weights on a Tempus Fugit grandfather clock? To set the weights on your Tempus Fugit grandfather clock, first, make sure the clock is level and stable. Hang the heaviest weight on the right chain, which controls the chime.
Tempus Fugit is a Latin phrase, usually translated into English as “Time Flies”. The expression comes from line 284 of book 3 of Virgil's Georgics, where it appears as fugit inreparabile tempus: “it escapes, irretrievable time”.
