All puzzles can be found on free-to-play worlds, though some puzzles will be unsolvable, thus preventing the players from obtaining access to some rooms. Puzzles are found only on Complexity 5 and 6.
The Fremennik Slayer Dungeon, also known as the Rellekka Slayer Caves and the Fremennik Slayer Cave, is a cave system found south-east of Rellekka, featuring slayer monsters that can only be killed by players with the appropriate Slayer level.
When speaking to an NPC in a hard or elite trail, the player may receive a puzzle box. Puzzle boxes are 'step two' of a clue: first the player has to find the right NPC to speak to (when they get a cryptic or anagram clue), and then they have to solve the puzzle, to advance along their trail.
The sunken pyramid is a dungeon home to the Order of the Slayer Masters, allowing players to become a Slayer Master. To enter the dungeon, players are required to have level 99 Slayer. Partial completion of The Jack of Spades is also required to reach it.
