Testors Enamel Paint Drying Time. Testors recommends 48 to 72 hours to fully cure. They also recommend recoating within three or forty-eight hours. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes before the paint becomes dry to touch. Compared to Testors acrylics, acrylics fully cure within 24 hours and only ten minutes to become dry to the touch.
Stain will naturally concentrate in corners and pull up flat surfaces. Let dry for 15 minutes, remove excess with thinner using either a moistened cloth or fine brush. To blend, thin or remove, use 1148 Enamel Thinner. Leave 24 hours for full cure. Recoating before then may result in blending of colors.
15 Φεβ 2009 · If you have a food dehydrator, Testor's paints can be forced dried in about 8 hours to where it'll be rock hard to rub out an polish. Set your dehydrator to about 105 degrees to get the best results. Randy's suggestion of a polishing kit is a good one-----however like everything else, it takes some practice to get the best results.

27 Απρ 2017 · Oil-based paints like Testors take a few hours to dry. While you can probably handle the model after a few hours to apply decals and a topcoat, it’s safer to let it dry overnight, if you have the patience.
Flat enamels dry reasonably quick, the gloss takes forever, especially a thick, wet, glossy coat. Testors is slow setting. Drying/hardening time depends a lot on absolute humidity. In wet weather gloss takes forever (days), while in dry winter air the flats can be handled pretty quickly after painting.
