How to Report. Report new hires in Texas to the Child Support Division of the Office of the Attorney General. You can report new hire information online, file uploads through the Internet, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), or by mail, fax, or phone.
Federal and state law require employers to report all newly hired or rehired employees to the designated New Hire Reporting program, whether or not the employer believes that a given employees owes child support.
New Hire. Data to Report. There are seven mandatory elements employers are required to report. Company name; Company mailing address – if different from payroll address, provide payroll address; Company Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) Employee name; Employee address; Employee social security number; Date of hire
