Some key info: I’m a female and was arrested at 28 with my first DUI charge and received it while living in Texas at the beginning of 2022. BAC came in at .21 and I had crashed my car into the curb when the cops found me.
First time DWI in Texas w/ extremely high BAC. I was arrested back in November & I just got my blood results today. My BAC was .18. I was found asleep at the wheel when I got arrested. I’ve googled myself sick with anxiety. I talked to my lawyer today and she’s going to help me submit an application to the pre-trial diversion program.
I got my first (and only 🤞🏼) DWI in Texas. It took over a year for me to get my court date but once I did I was sentenced to 18 months probation. It definitely sucks not being able to drink and smoke but other than that it’s been pretty easy.
Texas DWI. Hi there! This is my first Reddit post and DWI. I was charged with a DWI in Texas in 2021, im in a pre trial intervention program for a year, I’ve had an IID in my car since the arrest. I blew over a .15 and was in a minor accident.
Dallas Texas related. So i got my first DWI last night. Anyone familiar with the Dallas area knows by Preston road and university park. I was driving around midnight and had a front light out. Next thing you know the cops were behind me and had their lights on. The officer told me he stopped me because of the light and that I also was swerving.
Texas is extremely strict with DWI (It is actually one of the crimes that you can not get early termination for). In probation, you can apply for unsupervised probation halfway through if you are compliant with conditions.
There are two different charges in Texas, either DUI or a DWI. If she is a minor, she gets charged with the first. If not, she's getting charged with a DWI. Two different agencies are now involved. If the arresting officer offered her the "breathalyzer" and she refused, the state is going to suspend her license for a period of time.
