Depending on what county you were in, the odds can go either way. Given that it’s your first offense, depending on your BAC, you might have a solid chance of getting a light sentence. Hopefully even reduce the charge to reckless driving, but Texas really lives to pin that DUI on violators.
Some key info: I’m a female and was arrested at 28 with my first DUI charge and received it while living in Texas at the beginning of 2022. BAC came in at .21 and I had crashed my car into the curb when the cops found me.
