Access the live online Certification/Licensee Search. Note: Select the link, "License Search", on the top right side. You do not need to register, or enter an ID or password. Things to remember: An individual must have a " Current, Active " status to be eligible to work on an ambulance.
EMS Certification and Licensure. You can use the DSHS online licensing service to apply for an initial, renewal, or upgraded certification/licensure. You can also use the service to update you address. Register as a new user.
For verification of your Texas EMS License for other states or agencies send your request and form to emscert@dshs.texas.gov. An out-of-state certified emergency medical services (EMS) person may apply for Texas certification by reciprocity.

Quick Verify is a simple tool that displays Home State (s) license information (level, expiration date, status, and issuing state), and the Privilege to Practice status for individual EMS personnel licensed in one or more EMS Compact Member States.
