15 Ιαν 2024 · Calorific value and compositional ultimate analysis with a case study of a Texas lignite
3 Ιαν 2022 · Namely, lignite coal contains a large percentage of aliphatic C–H bonds, which under heating in the inert atmosphere decompose to yield low-molecular-weight organic gases, the pyrolysis step. Thus, HA coal has a much higher volatile content (∼49%) than the BA coal (∼33%).
24 Ιουν 2020 · One of the most important practical problems in lignite mining is to make a lignite quality classification due to heterogeneity. The quality of lignite depends on the parameters such as moisture, ash, sulfur, and calorific value and an acceptable, reliable classification mechanism is required.
15 Μαΐ 2016 · Mapping of coal quality using stochastic simulation and isometric logratio transformation with an application to a Texas lignite. International Journal of Coal Geology, 152, 80–93. View Abstract
A sensitivity analysis on co-firing of local biomass and Ekibastuz coal demonstrated the optimal operating temperature for fluidized bed reactor at 1148 K with the recommended...
15 Μαΐ 2016 · Measurements to determine coal quality as fuel include proximate analysis, ultimate analysis and calorific value. The latter is an attribute taking non-negative real values, so a simple transformation is sufficient for its spatial modeling applying geostatistics.
Statistical analysis of chemical data on Texas Eocene coals revealed startigraphic and geographic trends in lignite quality. Chemical data on near-surface coals wre obtained from various private and public sources. Seams from deep-basin coals were compared.
