Inmate spends are based on the following months: January – March up to $70.00; April – June up to $70.00;
eCommDirect allows approved family and friends to make a deposit into the account of an inmate incarcerated in a TDCJ facility and purchase commissary products. This secure service offers online convenience and greater control of what happens with the funds you provide.
You can deposit money directly into an inmate’s Debit account. You do not need to be on the inmate’s Visitor List to make a deposit. Note that funds placed in an inmate’s account become the property of the inmate. Friends and family members will not be able to request refunds from these accounts.
