22 Ιουν 2023 · The Texas sabal palm is a robust native palm tree with a single trunk topped by large fan-shaped evergreen leaves. The attractive emerald-green palm fronds measure up to 6.5 ft. (2 m) wide, growing on 15 ft. (4.5 m) long stems, forming a thick, rounded crown. The Texas sabal palm grows up to 50 ft. (15 m) tall and 25 ft. (7.6 m) wide.
Our Sabal Palms are sold by the trunk foot price, typically $100 per trunk foot, although there may be variables. Trees are pre-paid prior to harvest depending on arrangements and harvesting the trees is dependent upon the weather.

30 Απρ 2017 · Sabal mexicana (the Texas plant was formerly separated as Sabal texana): Increasingly, it is being used in landscapes in Texas. It looks similar to S. palmetto but is shorter, tends to have a stouter trunk and has a larger fruit that also has a flattened sperical shape.

19 Μαρ 2020 · Texas Sabal is the one palm native to the Rio Grande Valley. Twenty years ago, the last large native stand was in Brownsville but they are making a come-back. Large specimens can be seen in many of the brushlines and native brush. It looks similar to Florida’s cabbage palm but with a stockier trunk.
