Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills by Chapter. The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) are listed below in two different formats, a web-based version of the standards and a PDF version of the standards.
The SBOE approved the revised TEKS for adoption in April 2012. The revised TEKS are available on the TEA rules page. The revised TEKS have “Adopted 2012” noted in the title. The revised mathematics TEKS for Kindergarten through grade 8 will be implemented in the 2014-2015 school year.

The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) are the state standards for what students should know and be able to do in each subject and grade level. The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) has legislative authority to adopt the TEKS for each subject of the required curriculum.
