For a while I was obsessed with the real-life parasite this movie is inspired by. I would bring it up constantly, it’s just so fascinating to me. Finding this movie after the fact was very satisfying!

The Bay is actually one of my top ten least favorite horror films, let alone found footage. I felt like Barry Levinson Really showed his age and the characters and writing are cringy. However, I do know it tends to be popular on this board and the idea of the film is good so to each there own I guess, haha
