What I adore about those photos of the historic moment is that Diana is wearing yellow as a tribute to the pineapple fields in Nambour. The People’s Princess loved to dress in a theme.

The heritage-listed Big Pineapple is open daily and we welcome you to visit our iconic property. Have a photo with the Big Pineapple and then take the Pineapple Train for an informative train ride through the plantation, rainforest and return to the station for a Pineapple Parfait in the Cafe, which is hosted by Montville Coffee.
