History. The square has two notable buildings. Peter Jones department store designed by Reginald Uren of the firm Slater Moberly and Uren in 1936 and now a Grade II* listed building on account of its early curtain wall and modernist aesthetic, pioneering in the UK for a department store. [5]

9 Ιαν 2020 · Chelsea’s Favourite – The Botanist, Sloane Square. The Botanist on Sloane Square was a lively venue on a drab January day. Despite the overcast sky, the sizeable room was flooded with light from the large expanse of glass that hugs the sweeping curve of the window.
1 Αυγ 2008 · The Martin brothers have a series of successful gastropubs, including the lauded Gun in Docklands, but now they have branched out into a brasserie on the north east corner of Sloane Square. Bearing in mind that this only opened weeks ago, the first thing to strike a visitor was the energy of the place.
