Netflix Death Note movie was so damn good! Analysis. Just rewatched it and man, it’s such a good movie. Like a majority of you, I overall disliked it my first time watching it, or the second time. We love the manga/anime so much, it’s nearly perfect and it’s an insult to Americanize it and give us an hour and 40 minutes.

Death Note is a 2017 American supernatural crime thriller film directed by Adam Wingard from a screenplay by Charles Parlapanides, Vlas Parlapanides, and Jeremy Slater, loosely based on the manga of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.
Like a combination of Donnie Darko and Final Destination, DEATH NOTE is suitably suspenseful, well cast, and boasts great shots courtesy of Adam Wingard making this low budget movie look much better than it ought to.
