The Debt Collector: Directed by Jesse V. Johnson. With David Will No, Michael Paré, Scott Adkins, Vladimir Kulich. A classically-trained martial artist goes to work as a mob debt collector. The job seems easy enough, until a client drags him into a situation deeper than could ever be anticipated.
The Debt Collector: 6 out of 10: A Dojo owner (Scott Adkins) gets a side hustle collecting debts to help save his business and his first weekend out with his new partner (Louis Mandylor) is a lot more than he bargained for. The Good: These guys deserved a better movie.
In short, The Debt Collector isn't just a good B-Movie, but also a welcome throw back from guys clearly in love with their favorite genre's past titans.
