Please do not download and add collections of mods to your Downloads folder unless you are prepared to figure out if there are conflicts between other mods in your Downloads folder and the new collection by reading the documentation and using the hack conflict detector programs. There may also be conflicts amongst the mods in these collections ...
Some of the links in the wiki are direct downloads to specific mods which usually gets flagged by antivirus software but should be safe (I've downloaded many of the mods from there), and you can always scan them to be 100% sure.

How to play on Windows. Download and Extract The_Sims_2_Win_ISO_EN.zip. Mount The Sims 2.iso – if you don’t know how to mount files, refer to this article: https://oldgamesdownload.com/wiki/install-games-on-windows/. Open the mounted file and run “setup.exe”.
17 Σεπ 2024 · Open the program and select The Sims 2 in the game dropdown menu. If it doesn't automatically find the game, browse to the latest installed expansion or stuff pack. Modify the settings under Game Tweaks to apply the desired fixes. Press Save Files... and click Yes in the window that appears.
