Everything I’m reading refers to a downloads folder but I can’t find it anywhere. I do not have a folder in documents > ea > the sims 2 > Downloads like I’ve seen. I tried downloading Aspyr’s The Sims 2 extras package installer and that isn’t work either.
Some of the links in the wiki are direct downloads to specific mods which usually gets flagged by antivirus software but should be safe (I've downloaded many of the mods from there), and you can always scan them to be 100% sure.
