I am trying to install The Sims 2 Double Deluxe and The Sims 2 Pets Expansion Pack on my Windows 11 computer, but I am experiencing issues with both. The Double Deluxe is ONE disc, and I already have the base game installed and it works correctly.
13 Μαΐ 2024 · The short answer is yes, The Sims 2 runs perfectly fine on Windows 11 – but you may encounter crashes or graphical issues without the proper setup. Released in 2004, TS2 predates Windows 11 by over 15 years. So out-of-the-box compatibility is hit or miss.

This is a repack of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and includes almost all game’s expansion and stuff packs (important: a few packs are missing such as IKEA Home Stuff. You can download and install these packs separately.)

Do every step & every download, everything she says. I made mine work with windows 10 almost 5 years ago. I made it work with windows 11 this week. If you have questions, let me know.
27 Οκτ 2024 · I have recently purchased a Microsoft Surface laptop with Windows 11 and installed 3 different packs of The Sims 2 game, (The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, and the The Sims 2 Deluxe). I had the CD versions of all of them so installed them all by connecting the laptop with a DVD adaptor.
Download the 4GB patch tool here. Once downloaded, put it in a file folder for later use (it can be used for other games). Run the exe. Search for your sims file inside the “Mansion and Garden” folder. You should now be able to play The Sims 2.
