SOLVED. Hey so I’ve never played the Sims 2 and also ways wanted but was wondering if there is any way I can download it for free. By the way I have a windows PC. If there is please let me know. Thanks!
Download the 4GB patch tool here. Once downloaded, put it in a file folder for later use (it can be used for other games). Run the exe. Search for your sims file inside the “Mansion and Garden” folder. You should now be able to play The Sims 2.
As you probably know, The Sims 2 is no longer being sold by EA and was taken off of Origin, so it should be okay to share a download link for the game. Sims 2 Ultimate Collection isn't working on my computer anymore. It was working fine earlier but now whenever i try to start it up, it keeps crashing. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it still keeps crashing.
