  4. If you're interested in these things, the best option is generally to search on Google for a tutorial on the subject specifically. If you want to learn to sprite, then the first thing you should do is get to grips with the basics of a digital image application. For most spriters, the built in Paint application from Windows is great.

  6. So I heard about this website from the FAQ, but how do you use it? All the pictures of sprites I find are way to small to even make out. It says to give credit to the creators and it gives a file size, but is their a way to download them? Or is there something else you have to do?

  7. The Spriters Resource accepts 2 files types: .PNG, and .GIF. While we accept .GIF, we advise that you simply use .PNG because of a color limitation to the .gif format. To put it basically, the GIF file format can only contain 256 colors, whereas a PNG can have any number.
