I've used this app at quite a few places. A few takeaways: Restaurants will often give you a bunch of sides that they make in large batches, e.g. mac'n cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, rice and beans, etc. Some places will just empty out their salad bar into a bag for you and call it a deal.
