Isaiah 50 is an intriguing chapter in the Book of Isaiah, filled with deep metaphors, powerful imagery, and stark contrasts. It forms part of the "Servant Songs" - prophetic visions that personify the people of Israel or the coming Messiah as a Servant.
23 Δεκ 2015 · In Isa 50:7, the Servant speaks of a certainty of God's help in the midst of suffering and shame. In earlier verses, the tone was a lot more submissive and gentle, and he speaks with patient endurance. However, in Isa 50:7, he is more determined, resolute and strong.
