  2. 27 Μαΐ 2016 · VNC servers generally refuse connections from localhost. Your tunneled connection likely appears to originate from localhost. The line includes a -localhost option to enable this. There should be an option in the Windows control panel to set this flag for the server.

  5. 18 Φεβ 2018 · I edited /etc/init.d/tightvnc to change the window number to 2 and installed it into Pi-B. When I try to make a connection from TighVNC Viewer on Windows to Pi-B by specifying the remote host as 'localhost::5902' I get the error message "Connection has been gracefully closed."

I’ve had a look at the TightVNC home page, but haven’t found anything enlightening on there. Has anyone come across this issue before and, if so, how did you resolve it? TIA
