When I try to connect to a remote computer that is using changeip dyndns (managed and updated by an SFR box), - if I use the changeip.net subdomain (xxx.changeip.net), I always get "Connection has been gracefully closed" after a few seconds time-out, before the login form apears.

7 Μαρ 2021 · I want to be able to TightVNC into my Ubuntu Server (from Windows 10) to perform file management (via XCFE Desktop) and run process’ from the console that will continue to run even though I disconnect my putty connection.
27 Μαΐ 2016 · VNC servers generally refuse connections from localhost. Your tunneled connection likely appears to originate from localhost. The line includes a -localhost option to enable this. There should be an option in the Windows control panel to set this flag for the server.
18 Φεβ 2018 · When I try to make a connection from TighVNC Viewer on Windows to Pi-B by specifying the remote host as 'localhost::5902' I get the error message "Connection has been gracefully closed." Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to correct it?

Update I've tried from my LAN connecting with the TightVNC beta4 client and it yields an "IPv4 Error". I then tried uninstalling the TightVNC server and installing UltraVNC. When connecting to UltraVNC with TightVNC viewer, I get the same exact error.
24 Μαΐ 2021 · I am remotely connecting to a client's control system using their VPN client and tight VNC viewer. I have been successful for the last 2 weeks, but this morning I am getting the "Connection has been successfully closed message after login on. Any thoughts?
