   When I try to connect to a remote computer that is using changeip dyndns (managed and updated by an SFR box), - if I use the changeip.net subdomain (xxx.changeip.net), I always get "Connection has been gracefully closed" after a few seconds time-out, before the login form apears.

The error reads "Error in tightVNC viewer: the connection parameters (host, port, socket, gates) is empty". Opening the VNC file in a text editor shows the parameters are set correctly.

   18 Φεβ 2018 · I edited /etc/init.d/tightvnc to change the window number to 2 and installed it into Pi-B. When I try to make a connection from TighVNC Viewer on Windows to Pi-B by specifying the remote host as 'localhost::5902' I get the error message "Connection has been gracefully closed."

   Unable to remotely connect using TightVNC, "Error: Connection Has Been Gracefully Closed". I've made sure TightVNC service is running on home machine (of course), enabled password authentication, made sure that remote connections have been allowed.

   11 Νοε 2012 · Problem: When I specify additional ports on the TightVNC server and attempt to connect to them from a remote machine, the connection always fails and gives the message "Connection has been gracefully closed". The primary port allows access without issues.
