13 Μαρ 2014 · Although the solution to fixing the time sync problems is correct (set RealTimeIsUniversal to 1 in the Windows registry), the explanation of the problem is incorrect. There is a time maintained by the system board called the RTC (real time clock).
18 Οκτ 2023 · If your system dual boots both Windows and macOS, you might notice that it’s impossible to get the system clocks to sync. No matter how you change the clock in one OS, it doesn’t fix the problem with the other OS.
13 Ιαν 2021 · As always, a backup is recommended. 1. Install macOS when Windows 10/11 is already installed. So the problem is that the Windows EFI is 100 MB, not 200 MB so the macOS Disk Utility will fail when creating the new APFS partition for macOS, we need to resize the EFI first.
The easy way is to set Windows to use UTC, I didn't test with Windows 8 but I think will work. Start with Windows and create a new file with the name setUTC.reg and paste this text inside: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00.
