The Borrowers are tiny people who live underneath or behind different pieces of furniture in the house, living by "borrowing" different small items that they use for everyday furniture. The Borrowers in this story are called the Clock family - Pod, Homily and their daughter Arietty, whom they have shielded from the practicalities of borrowing.
Plot. Having been dumped by her boyfriend after graduation, Aura (Lena Dunham) moves back home to her mother's loft in Tribeca for the summer. Aura's plan is to save money until her friend Frankie finishes her degree at Oberlin College and can move to the city so that they can be roommates.
