25 Ιουν 2021 · TiO 2 NPs are used in nano fertilisers and nano pesticides to enhance the soil fertility and the growth of crops by increasing the light retention and diffusion in the crops. They also regulate the delivery of pesticides and fertilisers in the soil and reduce the damage to crops (Dubey & Mailapalli, 2016).
23 Μαρ 2021 · Under the light of current knowledge, this chapter provides an overview of TiO 2-NPs, their interactions, i.e., uptake, translocation and accumulation with plants, feedback of plants at different levels (viz. morphological, physiological, biochemical and molecular) with an overview on intrinsic mechanism of TiO 2-NPs detoxification within plants.
23 Σεπ 2016 · Soils are facing new environmental stressors, such as titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO 2 -NPs). While these emerging pollutants are increasingly released into most ecosystems, including...
6 Αυγ 2021 · Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO 2 NPs) display an array of effects from negative, to neutral and positive when applied on plants. Importantly, when the right concentrations are selected, these nanoparticles have positive effects on seed germination, the vigor of young and mature plants and can also increase crop yield and nutritional value.
29 Νοε 2021 · The increasing application of biosolids and agrochemicals containing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) and titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO 2 NPs) results in their inevitable accumulation in soil, with unknown implications along terrestrial food chains.
TiO 2, among other nanomaterials, is immediately absorbed by plants, the primary producers, through the soil, water, and air in varying concentrations. According to reports, the mass flow of estimated manufactured nanomaterial emissions comprises more than one-fourth of the total global range of emissions of TiO 2 NPs.
