Tipping Point Community is a non-profit organization committed to fighting poverty in the Bay Area for the 1.1 million people who don’t have the resources to meet their basic needs. We build community to advance the most promising poverty-fighting solutions.
Tipping Point recommendations are prepared by the Tipping Point Grant Committee. The Committee consists of nine (9) members with an application process open to the public, and the County Manager approves yearly appointments.

Tipping Point identifies and invests in the most promising interventions by funding a portfolio of poverty-fighting organizations and implementing a series of focused initiatives. Our portfolio focuses on four issues areas: Early Childhood, Education, Employment and Housing.
