7 Απρ 2019 · Has anyone used the Harbor Freight wheel balancer? https://www.harborfreight.com/portable-wheel-balancer-39741.html. I used to have a small tire balancer I got from J.C. Whitney about 50+ years ago, but it seems to have disappeared in my last move.
I tried for an hour to swap a 16" tire / rim & gave up. No duck bill but still. It is ok for high profile tires that you don’t care to scratch. Good luck with low profile or runflats. The bubble balancer works fine though. Following! That's faster then I can Mount and balance 4 tires at my work.

5 Ιουν 2017 · Harbor Freight had the bubble type balancer for about $80, which is not as cheap as the tire tool. But, 20% discount helps get the price down to 64 + tax. I am going to try and balance also. I will do a review of that too.
27 Μαΐ 2023 · I have mounted/balanced many motorcycle tires, both when I had a professional shop and in my home shop, here's some info/tips. I have used/compared electronic spin balancers and simple "Harbor Freight" type on same wheel/tire with exactly same weight added. I had some wheels that did not need balance weights, but very rare.
