What stood out most in testing the Titleist 917D3 is how easy it is to hit the ball offline. I make no claims to being a terribly accurate driver, but I have a clear idea of what my dispersion should look like with a modern driver.

4 Μαΐ 2018 · 917 D3 is by far the best driver I have hit, key factor being fitted and having a consistent swing. I do not understand those who just pick one up off the shelf and go play and then complain they can't hit their driver, and want to turn around and sell it for the same price they paid.
As someone who tests all clubs from multiple manufacturers. The 917 did not hold up well compared to other OEM drivers from the same year, it's not bad but you won't have has high ball speed in miss hits, or directional consistency as something like a rogue, m4, or g400.
