The transcript must be mailed directly from the educational institution to the board office located at 665 Mainstream Drive, Nashville, TN 37243.
Medication Aides must successfully complete the Tennessee Medication Aid Certification Examination for licensure. Registered and practical nurses may be licensed by examination or endorsement from another state.
The Tennessee Department of Health’s Licensure and Regulatory System puts Tennessee RN license applications online. Applicants can submit their licensure applications and upload documents required to complete their applications to make the process quicker and easier.
