ON THE I-110 FREEWAY: Vehicles with two or more occupants per vehicle can use the Metro ExpressLanes toll-free at all hours. The I-10 and I-110 Metro ExpressLanes are enforced by the California Highway Patrol and Occupancy Detection System.
FasTrak is an electronic-only toll collection system used in California allowing drivers to drive through designated “FasTrak Only” lanes paying tolls without stopping. With the switchable FasTrak Flex, a customer has the option to travel as a toll-paying solo driver or toll-free as a carpooler.
