8 Φεβ 2022 · Paramotors are more like chainsaws and motorcycle racing engines than any other. Paramotors use carburetors from an obsolete chainsaw. Piston replacement – it is not advisable to attempt this without intermediate mechanical skills.
The Top 80 is very light at just 11.1 KG, which also makes it the go to choice for those with back or knee problems, or pilots who just can’t lift the heavier engines. It’s probably the least thirsty paramotor engine available.

The Top 80 is an Italian single cylinder, 2-stroke aircraft engine designed and produced by Per Il Volo for Powered Paragliding. It was the first purpose-designed Paramotor engine! The Top 80 was developed specifically for the Per Il Volo Miniplane, which was introduced in 1989.
