I've had two friends who swore free weights were all they'd ever use, and now they have Total Gyms adding to their particular brand of workout. As with any workout, however, it will be what you make of it using your determination and sweat.
That's what happened to me so I gave it to my parents and bought a power rack and olympic weight set. tl;dr: I'd recommend the TotalGym for people who just want to get fit or "toned" and don't want to "lift weights". There are definitely cheaper alternatives but the TG is kinda' fun to use. Reply.
