30 Απρ 2022 · In children and adults with TS or a chronic tic disorder who require treatment for tics, how should clinicians and patients choose between evidence-based treatment options and determine the sequence or combinations of these treatments?
The majority of treatment options for tics are pharmacological. The most commonly prescribed drugs are primarily dopamine antagonists, such as neuroleptics (e.g. haloperidol), benzamides (e.g. sulpiride) or atypical antipsychotics (e.g. risperidone).
