Each year, Sidney kicks off its Canada Day celebrations early with a “Sidney Days” launch on June 30th. This year’s evening event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Beacon Park and includes an opening ceremony, live music from Tune Raiders, and a fireworks show.

From October 25th to Remembrance Day, the Poppy Office is open at 2328 Resthaven Drive (former 7-Eleven location) from Mondays to Saturdays, 10am to 4pm. Donations to the Poppy Fund support Veterans and their families, and the community.

Join Peninsula Celebrations Society for the Annual Canada Day Parade on July 1 at 11:30 am along Beacon Avenue in Downtown Sidney! The Parade route begins along Resthaven Drive and turns onto Beacon Avenue.
