13 Ιουν 2012 · If the fans never work, it could be the cooling fan ECU (located behind the grill), but check the 50A fuse powering it, and the fan relay first. If the fans fail to operate only with the AC, but do come on in normal hot engine conditions, then the fuse and relays are fine - it's a command problem at the ECU or the AC controller.
28 Μαρ 2009 · This is a recognized design defect, confirmed by a special meeting with a Toyota Technician. By using thermocouples and an IR thermometer I had found that at 75F with the A/C off the incoming air will eventually climb to 116F.
27 Δεκ 2012 · When I turn the speed know I can hear the engine kicking the fan on, but no air comes through the vents. The AC button lights up, just no air through the vents. I checked the fuse for the AC under the dash and it was good.

1 Σεπ 2014 · The ac will run the cooling fan at full speed to keep the condenser cool. The engine computer will change the fan speed using the cooling fan resistor. If the resistor is bad the fan speed signal will never make it past the resistor through to the fan motor
