25 Οκτ 2024 · The important is the coolant type must be phosphated LLC fluid Red if it needs Toyota older coolant. Do not use european coolant that contains silicate like VW coolant. it can cause gelling. Newer Toyota use SLLC pink coolant and it has longer intervals but not compatible with older engines.

16 Αυγ 2015 · Location: Southern CA. Vehicle: 2011 Prius. Model: Three. I need to top off both my engine coolant and my inverter coolant. The Hayes Manual says to use Toyota Super Long Life Coolant (SLLC) or equivalent. My Prius is a 2011 and has the pink coolant in it.

19 Ιουλ 2016 · Flushing is recommended because not all coolants are compatible and mixing can result in gelling. GM's DexCool is a very similar formulation to Toyota SLLC, but it gained the reputation as "DeathCool" because of compatibility issues.
