These landscapes, sometimes associated with agricultural remnants that are more or less maintained over time, present a high biocultural value and are recognized as TALs.
Traditional agriculture, while steeped in history and cultural significance, packs a hefty punch on the environment. Not quite the gentle giant of land use, it often involves practices that aren’t exactly best buddies with Mother Nature.
