The characteristics of mentoring that were presented in Fig. 4 provides them with concrete, well-founded anchor points to organize and implement their mentoring program.
Some (see Chapter 3) suggest that this is the traditional mentoring form. It is about fast-tracking the mentee in their career. This may be linked to talent-management programs in organizational settings, but it may also be found in educational settings where talent might be supported and nurtured by a mentor. Peer Mentoring
