29 Ιουλ 2020 · Mentoring programs for nurses already in the health workforce are growing in importance. Yet, the settings, goals, scale, and key features of these programs are not widely known. Objective. To identify and synthesize research on in-service nurse mentoring programs. Methods. We reviewed nurse mentoring research from six databases.
PURPOSE OF THIS GUIDE. This guide provides information on mentoring nursing graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty. The College of Nursing (CON) supports and encourages mentoring activities within the College.
To succeed at the executive level, ongoing deliberate skill development coupled with support is crucial across a nurse’s career trajec-tory. This article introduces a model emphasizing the importance of mentoring and/or coaching for the as-piring executive nurse leader.
Mentoring in nurse-to-nurse relationship is important for developing the next generation of nurses and for supporting experienced nurses during role transitions across their career.
Result: The analysis clarifies the definition, interpretiv use of mentoring and application of mentoring in nursing practice. It also establishes a conceptual meaning of mentoring to examine the existence of mentoring measures and to assess the utility within nursing and other rela ted field.
