  3. The Four Frameworks of Traditional Mentoring Almost all undergraduate peer mentoring programs in the United States are grounded in one of four general mentoring frameworks, which I call “traditionalmentoring programs (Smith, 2013, p. 56; Gershenfeld, 2014, p. 366).

  4. In particular, it presents a definition that reflects mentoring experiences in modern organisations, identifies mentoring functions and benefits as perceived by mentees and mentors, and examines the relationships between those constructs and gender.
