18 Ιαν 2021 · #1. Have a 2020 2500 diesel. Truck came with Trailer Sway Dampening and Auto Rear Leveling. Do you all recommend using sway bars in addition to the manufacturer-installed devices? Based on what I've read seems like I need the sway bars too. If so, what would you recommend? I'm towing a 32' trailer with a GVW of 11,000 lbs. Appreciate the responses.

7 Σεπ 2023 · Looks like it works with the rest of your stability control. If the truck senses trailer sway it will apply individual wheel brakes and cut engine power as necessary to compensate and re-stabilize.

6 Φεβ 2010 · Trailer sway dampening applies individual brakes on the Jeep should the trailer and Jeep start to sway. It is an effort to stop the swaying. You can ad a hitch to any JK, but the tow capacity will be different, depending on the configuration; 2dr or 4dr, axle ratio.
16 Φεβ 2013 · A properly setup trailer with WDH and anti-sway bars will prevent or minimize trailer sway on any trailer and truck combo. The various TSC controls used in different manufacturers trucks, including Ram trucks is an attempt to help control sway, after after it has started.
19 Μαΐ 2011 · It's when you have the large campers and small tow vehicles in a strong wind that causes issues, or improper tongue weight. I pull a flat bed trailer a lot, and speed isn't an issue as long as it's hooked up and loaded properly. I'm just curious, does anyone know how the trailer sway dampening works on the jeeps?
