The Redwood Forest Steam Train is a magical journey that takes you through the towering redwood forests of California. This adventure starts and ends at the Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, near the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Embark on three scenic rail excursions: Redwood Forest Steam Train, Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad and Napa Valley Wine Train; See San Francisco's most famous sites, including Fisherman's Wharf; Visit Alcatraz; Tour Yosemite National Park and learn about its history and wildlife; Explore Railtown 1897 State Historic Park
Step back in time for a magical ride through the redwoods on the world-famous Skunk Train. Since 1885 the historic Skunk has made its way through old-growth redwood groves, over scenic trestle bridges, through spectacular tunnels, and into the heart of the Noyo River canyon.
The journey commences at the covered train depot in Roaring Camp. Riders board open-air coaches to enjoy the very best views of the upcoming scenery. The steam engine weaves through lush redwood groves and deep forests, crosses wooden trestle bridges, and switchback turns.
